DAY 1: ARRIVE SRI LANKA

Once you arrive at Colombo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your beachside hotel in Negombo. After checking in, you’ll meet your group leader and fellow travelers, who will share an introduction to Sri Lanka, along with helpful travel tips and local insights.   The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax after your journey. You may choose to unwind by the pool, enjoy a walk along the beach, or simply rest at the resort. In the evening, we will gather for a Welcome Dinner by the ocean, featuring a relaxed setting, tropical flavors, and the chance to get to know your travel companions.   Overnight in Negombo.

DAY 2: DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE

After breakfast, we travel to the Dambulla Cave Temple. Discover one of Sri Lanka’s best-preserved ancient sacred sites, home to centuries-old murals and hundreds of Buddha statues carved into rock shelters. As you explore this remarkable cave temple complex, your guide will share its rich history and cultural significance. You will also have the opportunity to make a traditional offering of flowers to the Buddha, a meaningful gesture of respect and reflection in this sacred place. We then continue toward Sigiriya, where you will enjoy a beautifully curated Village Experience. This includes a traditional bullock cart ride, a peaceful catamaran ride across a lake, and a hands-on Sri Lankan cooking experience in a rural village home, where you will learn about authentic rice and curry preparation. After the experience, we proceed to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. Overnight in Sigiriya

DAY 3: CLIMB SIGIRIYA LION’S ROCK

Early in the morning, we visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. You will climb through ancient pathways, discover centuries-old frescoes, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the summit with your guide sharing the history along the way. After returning to the hotel, enjoy a relaxing lunch overlooking the surrounding jungle landscape. In the afternoon, we visit a Traditional Ayurvedic wellness center where you can experience herbal treatments and therapies inspired by ancient Sri Lankan healing traditions. Overnight in Sigiriya

DAY 4: KANDY CITY EXPLORATION

After breakfast, we travel to the cultural city of Kandy. On the way, we stop at a spice and herbal garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic plants and traditional medicine. In Kandy, we visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, followed by a gem museum showcasing the island’s famous Ceylon sapphires and an artisan craft center highlighting local heritage. We enjoy a scenic riverside lunch before continuing to check in at the hotel. In the evening, we attend a Traditional Cultural Dance performance, followed by a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic during the evening ceremony, where you may witness rituals and receive blessings. Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 5: CEYLON TEA TASTING

After breakfast, we journey into the central highlands toward Nuwara Eliya, known for its cool climate and colonial charm. Along the way, we visit a working Tea plantation and factory, where you will learn the full process of Ceylon Tea production—from tea plucking to processing—and enjoy a fresh tea tasting directly at the source. DAY 6: HORTON PLAINS NATIONAL PARK HIKE

Early morning, we visit Horton Plains National Park for a scenic nature walk to World’s End and Baker’s Falls, enjoying one of Sri Lanka’s most spectacular highland viewpoints. After returning, the afternoon is reserved for relaxation. Later, we enjoy a classic Ceylon High Tea experience at a colonial-style hotel, featuring fine tea, pastries, and an elegant atmosphere. DAY 7: SCENIC TRAIN TO ELLA

After breakfast, we board the famous scenic Train Journey to Ella, considered one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. The route winds through rolling tea plantations, misty waterfalls, and lush mountain valleys, offering unforgettable panoramic views along the way. Upon arrival in Ella, we transfer to our hotel for check-in and relaxation. The rest of the day is at your leisure to unwind, explore the surrounding nature, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the highlands. Overnight in Ella

DAY 8: ELLA HIGHLIGHTS

After breakfast, we visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, a stunning colonial-era railway marvel set amidst lush jungle and tea plantations. We then continue with a short hike to Little Adam’s Peak, where sweeping panoramic views of Ella’s valleys and surrounding highlands await at the summit. Later in the day, we continue our journey toward Yala, the gateway to Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife region, where the landscape gradually transforms from misty mountains into dry lowland wilderness. DAY 9: YALA GAME DRIVE

Today we enjoy a Full-Day Safari experience in Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and a wide variety of bird species. Accompanied by expert wildlife Trackers, you will explore the park by jeep, journeying through diverse landscapes of scrub jungle, open plains, and waterholes in search of wildlife in their natural habitat. Breakfast and lunch will be served picnic-style within the park, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the safari experience. Overnight in Yala

DAY 10: SURFING IN MIRISSA

Today, we drive to Mirissa, a vibrant coastal town renowned for its Surfing beaches and Whale-Watching opportunities. Upon arrival in the morning, we rent Surfboards and head to the ocean for an exciting surfing experience. Whether you are a beginner or have never surfed before, local instructors and experienced surfers will be available to help you catch your first Wave. You will also have some free time to explore the surrounding area, relax by the Beach, and enjoy lunch at one of the many seaside cafés or restaurants. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Galle. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. You may choose to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, or explore the charming atmosphere of the city at your own pace.

DAY 11: MADU RIVER SAFARI

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat safari along the Madu River, gliding through lush Mangrove Forests, passing small islands, and observing traditional fishing communities. During the journey, visit Cinnamon Island, where you will learn about the cultivation and processing of Sri Lanka’s famous cinnamon while exploring the region’s unique ecosystem. Around midday, return to the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax and unwind at your leisure. In the afternoon, visit the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk Art Museum, an excellent place to gain insight into Sri Lanka’s traditional way of life, rich cultural heritage, and customs that make the island truly unique. Towards Sunset, stop to witness the iconic Traditional Stilt Fishing practice, where local fishermen skillfully balance on wooden stilts in the shallow waters of the Indian Ocean. This is one of Sri Lanka’s most photographed scenes and offers a perfect opportunity for memorable pictures. You may even have the chance to try stilt fishing yourself under the guidance of local fishermen.

DAY 12: GALLE FORT WALK

This morning is free for relaxation and leisure. You may explore the surrounding area, enjoy some shopping, or visit one of the beachfront restaurants to sample delicious seafood dishes and refreshing tropical smoothies. In the afternoon, visit a Sea Turtle Hatchery and Rescue Centre, where you will learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to protecting Sri Lanka’s sea turtles. If conditions permit, you may even have the opportunity to participate in the release of baby turtles into the ocean—an unforgettable experience. Later, continue to the historic Galle Dutch Fort for an exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its charming streets and visit highlights such as the Maritime Museum, centuries-old churches, and the iconic lighthouse. During your visit, be sure to try the fort’s famous ice cream, a favorite treat among both locals and visitors.

DAY 13: COLOMBO CITY EXPLORATION

After breakfast, we travel to Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, we explore key city highlights including colonial architecture, modern districts, and boutique shopping areas. In the evening, we will enjoy a Farewell Dinner experience a the world-renowned Ministry of Crab, one of Asia’s most celebrated seafood restaurants, known for its premium Sri Lankan mud crab, signature dining experience, and vibrant atmosphere—an ideal finale to our journey together.

DAY 14: DEPARTURE SRI LANKA

Let’s take a moment to reflect on all the amazing memories we’ve made over our final breakfast together. While the trip may be coming to an end, the experiences and memories will stay with you for a lifetime. After breakfast, we’ll transport you back to Colombo Airport for your Departure.
