Our Booking Prosedure & General Information

Important Information – Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they contain important information about your agreement with The SkyHaven Tours.

BOOKING POLICY
A booking is made with us when you pay us a non-refundable deposit of US$200 per person, as applicable,
When the quote is accepted we require a US$200 deposit to secure your booking or full payment. This covers us for holding the transport/driver and making our deposits/payments with hotels on your behalf
Full payment must be made no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. Once we have received payment, one of our team will be in contact with you to help you with anything else you may need.
Our payment options are either via bank transfer or Western Union/Moneygram. All money Transfers are at the Client’s Expense, We do not accept credit cards and PayPal does not work properly in Sri Lanka
Our bank account details will be provided for international transactions and the Western Union & MoneyGram systems are recommended for their speed and lower transfer fees.

REFUND
Advance payments up to 6 weeks before arrival can be refunded, but only after administrative expenses and a hotel payments have been deducted. No refunds within 6 weeks of arrival after tour balance has been paid.

PASSPORTS & VISAS
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. If you need any help, or advice, with this just email us at info@skyhaventours.com
Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip.
It is Client’s responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip.
We cannot be held responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

BAGGAGE
SkyHaven Tours will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of baggage or belongings.

FLEXIBILITY
You appreciate and acknowledge that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives.
The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY
The itinerary may be changed as a result of bad weather or circumstances beyond our control. We will do our best to include all activities in our itinerary.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is compulsory for all SkyHaven Tours trips.
we strongly recommend that Clients have comprehensive travel insurance. Insurance should cover, but not be limited to, cancellation fees and loss of deposit or balance payment, damage to and loss of baggage and money, medical and hospitalization expenses, repatriation or curtailment expenses due to illness, the need to return home because of an unexpected death or illness in the immediate family, evacuation expenses and accidental death or disability.
Clients should obtain exclusion waivers that were appropriate for adventure activities excluded in travel insurance policies.

MEDICAL
There are no compulsory health requirements for visiting Sri Lanka, but all tourists are strongly advised to check with their own medical advisers well ahead of travel.
We are able to provide details on mandatory health requirements; however, we are not medical experts. It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain proper and detailed medical advice at least two months prior to travel for the latest health requirements and recommendations for your destination.

CUTTING YOUR TRIP SHORT
If you are forced to return home early, we cannot refund the cost of any travel arrangements you have not used. If you cut short your trip and return home early in circumstances where you have no reasonable cause for complaint about the standard of accommodation and services provided.
we will not offer you any refund for that part of your trip not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. Depending on the circumstances, your travel insurance may offer cover for curtailment and we suggest that any claim is made directly with them.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Any special requests must be advised to us at the time of booking e.g. diet, room location, room type i.e. twin/double, a particular facility at a hotel etc. i.e. swimming pool, gym, etc.
You also need to confirm your requests in writing. Whilst every effort will be made by us to try and arrange your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled.

FLIGHTS
SkyHaven Tours will not be held responsible or compensate and delays to flights that may affect your participation in SkyHaven Tours.
All bookings with Travel Agents and Airlines are subject to the Terms and Conditions and Limitations of Liability imposed by them.
They will provide you with their own Terms & Conditions.

PAYMENT
All our prices are based on Current US$/LKR Exchange Rates

UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Company reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Clients responsibility to be familiar with them.
The latest terms and conditions can always be found on the Company website www.skyhaventours.com and will supersede any previous versions.
